During this phase of a project, the main focus is on; receiving the selected piece of equipment, verifying that you received the correct equipment, verifying that the key features are present and working properly, and installing the equipment into its prepared area.
Site Acceptance Test
The purpose of the SAT is to verify that the functionality that was tested under the FAT is still working correctly after transportation and upon arrival at the installation site.
